Sleep in, enjoy your coffee and then step out of your Stonebridge Condominium and breathe in the clean air and immediately shed that busy skin. Get your day going with a different kind of bustle, the self-generated kind that gets your body moving, your heart pumping and your mind focused on the next fun adventure.

To get you started on planning that trip for peace of mind and body, we have listed ten of our top fun adventures to be had in the Snowmass area.

1. MOUNTAIN BIKING

Snowmass offers more than 50 miles of trails that cater to all levels. Bike cross-country and cruise through friendly forests of Aspen groves and fields full of wildflowers or try the heart racing Valhalla or the mellower Verde and experience berms, jumps, bridges and more.

Outside Magazine says that the mountain biking trails of Snowmass are an adrenaline rush with the only lift-served 4,000-foot mountain-bike descent in the U.S., starting above the treeline.

  1. FAMILY FISHING

If fishing is on your agenda, there are plenty of hikes one can take to beautiful high alpine lakes where the surrounding peaks and serenity will nurture the soul. Also, both the Roaring Fork River and the Frying Pan River have been designated Gold Medal Waters by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Only 168 miles of Colorado’s 9,000 miles of trout streams have made the cut. Snowmass is ideally situated as a convenient starting point to either of these rivers.

If you have never enjoyed a game of paintball than it might be time to try. Recommended for ages 8 and up this could possibly be one of the most fun activities you’ll ever encounter.
